Rename or Update an Auction
Auction names help you distinguish one project from another.
Use clear, specific names so the auction is easy to find later.
Update an Auction
- Sign in to LotJitsu.
- Open the auction.
- Open the auction settings or details area.
- Select the auction name or available edit option.
- Enter the corrected information.
- Save your changes.
Good Auction Names
Useful names often include a customer, location, auction type, or date.
Examples:
- Anderson Estate Auction
- July Municipal Surplus
- Main Street Equipment Auction
- Fall Antiques and Collectibles
Avoid names such as:
- New Auction
- Test
- Auction 1
- Current Sale
These names may become difficult to distinguish later.
Before Renaming an Exported Auction
Changing the auction name after an export may make it harder to match the LotJitsu record with a previously downloaded ZIP file.
Keep a note of the former name when the auction has already been exported.
