Correct a Lot Number

Correct an incorrect lot number as soon as you notice it.

Lot numbers help organize photos, titles, descriptions, and exported records.

Change a Lot Number

1. Open the auction.
2. Find the affected lot.
3. Open the lot details.
4. Select the lot-number field or edit option.
5. Enter the correct lot number.
6. Save the change.
7. Confirm that the photos and listing information still belong to that lot.

Check for an Existing Lot

Before changing the number, confirm that another lot is not already using it.

Duplicate numbers may cause confusion during review or export.

When Two Lots Were Switched

If the photos for two lots were assigned to the wrong numbers:

1. Stop processing additional work on those lots.
2. Review both sets of photos.
3. Correct the number or photo assignment for each lot.
4. Review the generated titles and descriptions again.
5. Check Auction Health before exporting.

Correct Numbers Before Export

Lot-number corrections should be completed before creating the final export package.

If you already exported the auction, correct the data and create a new export when necessary.
