Capture a Screenshot for LotJitsu Support
A screenshot can help the support team see an error message, processing status, or unexpected screen.
Take a Screenshot on an iPhone or iPad
On devices without a Home button:
- Press the side button and volume-up button at the same time.
- Release both buttons.
- Open the screenshot preview or find it in Photos.
On devices with a Home button:
- Press the side or top button and the Home button at the same time.
- Release both buttons.
- Find the screenshot in Photos.
Take a Screenshot on Android
The most common method is:
- Press the power and volume-down buttons at the same time.
- Release both buttons.
- Find the screenshot in Photos, Gallery, or Files.
The method may differ by device.
Take a Screenshot on a Mac
Press:
Shift + Command + 4
Drag over the area you want to capture.
The screenshot is usually saved to the Desktop.
Take a Screenshot on Windows
Press:
Windows key + Shift + S
Select the area you want to capture, then save the image.
Before Sending the Screenshot
Make sure the image shows:
- The error message
- The auction or lot involved
- The relevant status
- Enough of the screen to understand the problem
Hide or crop out unrelated personal, payment, or customer information before sending it.
